With a victory, Always Ready excites its fans

Dorny Romero contributed with two goals in Always Ready’s spectacular 6-1 victory against Sp. Cristal, for key 3 of CONMEBOL – Copa Libertadores 2024. The goals of the match for the local team were scored by Wesley Tanque (14′ 1T) , Dorny Romero (3′ 2T and 32′ 2T, penalty), Robson Tome (9′ 2T), Héctor Cuellar (13′ 2T) and Moisés Paniagua (44′ 2T). While the away goal was scored by Martín Cauteruccio (43′ 1T, penalty).

Robson Tome won the applause with his brilliant finish 9 minutes into the second half. The midfielder chased a ball from the left, managed to reach the goal of the rival area and nailed the ball into the left corner. Goalkeeper Renato Solís Salinas was left without a response to the spectacular shot.

Alexis Herrera was the referee chosen for the match in Gigante del Norte.

Always Ready’s victory in the first leg leaves them just a few steps away from qualifying. Next Tuesday, February 27, Sp. Cristal will prepare to seek revenge and reach the Third Phase.
