Dep. Riestra tied 1-1 on their visit to Rosario Central

El Canalla and Los Malevos tied 1-1 in the duel corresponding to date 14 of the Argentina – LPF Cup 2024 tournament, at the Gigante de Arroyito stadium.

At 13 minutes into the first half, Alan Barrionuevo allowed Dep. Riestra to take the lead on the scoreboard, but Rosario Central tied the match at minute 46 through a goal from Jaminton Campaz at the same stage.

Rosario Central maintained control of the game more than its rival with it (76% possession and 21 attempts at the rival goal), but it was not enough to break the tie.

Jaminton Campaz emerged as the most outstanding player of the match. The Rosario Central midfielder scored 1 goal, made 67 correct passes and looked for the opposite goal with 7 shots.

Nicolás Sansotre stood out for his solid defense. The Dep. Riestra defender had a good level by clearing 7 dangerous balls.

Referee Andrés Merlos was in charge of supervising the game at the Gigante de Arroyito stadium.

In the last game of Zone A, the two teams said goodbye to Argentina – LPF Cup 2024. Rosario Central has just 15 points, in eleventh place, and Dep. Riestra has 13 points and is last in the table.
