The channel joins TyC Sports as one of the means to watch the National Team’s matches in the tournament in which it defends the title obtained in 2021
The channel Telefe obtained the rights to broadcast the matches of the Selection Argentina in the Copa America 2024a situation that is surprising considering that the two in charge of television, until now, were Public TV and TyC Sports.
The person in charge of confirming the news was the portal Double Yellow through the social network X, in which they reported: “Telefe will broadcast the Argentine National Team in the Copa América”. Public TV stops televising the National Team
On the other hand, they confirmed that Public TV will no longer broadcast the matches of the Selection: “The company reached an agreement with Torneos to be the on-air television station.” In this way, the team formed by Gustavo Kuffner, Miguel Osovi and Sofía Martínez will no longer be in charge of the matches of the current champion of America and Qatar 2022.
