On Thursday, football fans had what was probably their last realistic chance to get tickets for the European Championship in the summer. Because of the high demand, fans had to be patient.
A huge rush for tickets for the European Football Championship in Germany tested fans’ nerves and caused problems and long waiting times.
As a spokesman for the organizing committee said, there were now more than 500,000 fans in the queue. They said they were doing the best they could to reduce the waiting time.
The European Football Union UEFA made a contingent of more than 100,000 tickets available for the European Championship in the summer this morning. For fans it is probably the last realistic chance for tickets. UEFA allocates tickets according to the “first come, first serve” principle – translated: whoever comes first, first served.
