Coach Carlo Ancelotti is the ultimate title collector. The Italian does not want to take over another club.
Star coach Carlo Ancelotti will end his coaching career after his engagement with Champions League finalists Real Madrid. The 64-year-old told the Italian newspaper “La Repubblica”. Ancelotti, who had also been linked with the national coach position in Brazil in the past, still has a contract with the Royal Club until 2026.
Ancelotti won the Champions League four times as a coach, twice each with the traditional Italian club AC Milan and with Real Madrid. Title number five is in sight in Saturday’s final against Borussia Dortmund. He still feels like he did before his first Champions League final 21 years ago. Perhaps he delegates a little more now. His son Davide is one of the coaching staff.
During his coaching career, Ancelotti won championship titles in the five major leagues of Spain, Italy, England, Germany and France. But after just over a year, his time at FC Bayern was over.
