real Madrid was crowned king of Europe for the fifteenth time by winning 2-0 against Borussia Dortmund in the final of the Champions League played on Saturday at Wembley.

The Spanish team, which started as the big favorite, was outmatched for a long time, but ended Dortmund’s resistance thanks to goals from Dani Carvajal and Vinicius Jr in the final minutes.

Veteran right-back Carvajal headed in a Toni Kroos corner in the 74th minute, and from then on Carlo Ancelotti’s team took heart.

Vinicius scored Real Madrid’s second goal in the 83rd minute, silencing the yellow Dortmund fans, who had created a wall of noise throughout the final.

In the first half, Niclas Fuellkrug hit the post from close range.
