Dream goalscorer Arda Güler dedicated his goal and the 3-1 victory with the Turkish national team against Georgia to his coach Vincenzo Montella. “We wanted to give him this gift,” said the 19-year-old from Real Madrid.
Güler played a key role in Turkey’s successful start to the European Football Championship with a very impressive long-range shot that made it 2-1. “It was a perfect birthday and really the best present anyone could have given me,” said Montella, who turned 50 on Tuesday. “The boys gave me the best present.”
