A fan falls and is seriously injured in the Berlin Olympic Stadium during the European Championship match between Poland and Austria. The reasons for this are unclear and there are no signs of third-party negligence.

During the European Championship group match between Austria and Poland (3:1) on Friday in Berlin, a Polish football fan was seriously injured after falling from the stands. As a spokesman for the Berlin fire brigade confirmed to the German Press Agency, a man from the lower tier fell from a height of three metres into the trench of the Berlin Olympic Stadium.
