European Football Championship: The German national football team in individual criticism

Neuer: The European record goalkeeper had no chance to defend the second goal conceded in the tournament. Augsburg’s Vargas scored from an offside position (85th minute). Strong save from Xhaka’s shot (88th minute).

Kimmich: Before the 0-1 he was unable to stop the Swiss attack sufficiently. After the break he marched forward tirelessly. Akanji blocked his shot with his left foot (71′).

Rüdiger: The defense chief had considerable problems with goalscorer Ndoye. After a lost challenge, the score was almost 0-2. He also missed a good header opportunity (41′).
