The eventful last match of the 1916 Copa América
The year 1916 was passing and four teams came together for the first time to play the South American Championship (today Copa América) in Buenos Aires. Argentina, Brazil, Uruguay and Chile met in an exciting quadrangular match that left the precedent for rivalries that grew throughout history.
