Hundreds, no, thousands of football fans walk together to the stadium: fan marches always have something martial about them – but also something that gives you goosebumps. This was also the intention of the DFB fans’ march in Dortmund: an army of supporters of the national team dressed in black, pink and white marched to the Westfalenstadion behind a double-decker bus. The “White Wall” along the way was complete with black, red and gold flags.


New friend of the entourage: Philipp Lahm
It is not the first fan march of the tournament. The latest fan to join the parade is Philipp Lahm: “The fans bring joy with them. Fan marches through city centers are the latest mass phenomenon. It is these encounters that make the tournament a European celebration. It is simply great fun and it can continue like this,” wrote the tournament director on X, formerly Twitter.
