After their strong Olympic Games, Isabell Werth and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl are having a blast. Now it’s time to go back home. Von Bredow-Werndl is looking forward to spending time with her children.
Isabell Werth and Jessica von Bredow-Werndl didn’t get much sleep after their magnificent Olympic finale. “It was pretty short, I think we’re almost done,” said dressage rider Werth about the night and the party in the German house the evening after her silver medal in the individual event. Olympic champion von Bredow-Werndl was active as a dancer: “I think I danced for two hours straight,” she said and smiled.
The 38-year-old is looking forward to going home after the Olympic days with two gold medals. “I’m going home with the kids right away. I’m already looking forward to going home, being more of a mom again than I am here – and to the other horses and my dog,” she said.
