Who can access ANSES Progresar Scholarships?

There are three lines of ANSES Progresar Scholarships.   • Registration: you must be a regular student at an educational institution.
  • Income: Anyone who applies for this scholarship and their family group cannot exceed three times the Minimum Living Wage.

Requirements to collect the Progresar Scholarship

The requirements to apply for the Progresar Scholarships vary depending on the line that has been chosen:

Progress Compulsory Level

  • Be a native or naturalized Argentine, or a foreigner with legal residence of 2 years in the country and have a DNI.
  • Be between 16 and 24 years of age at the time of closing of the call.
  • The sum of the income of the student and his/her family group must not exceed 3 Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM), except when the young applicants are holders of a non-contributory pension for disability granted under Article 9 of Law 13478.
  • Meet the status of regular student.
  • Participate in complementary activities determined by the program.
  • Meet the academic conditions established in the Progresar Regulations.
  • Have the complete or ongoing vaccination schedule according to age group.

Progress Higher Level

  • Be a native or naturalized Argentine, or a foreigner with legal residence of at least 5 years in the country, with DNI.
  • Incoming students: between 17 and 24 years of age.
  • Advanced students: up to 30 years old.
  • Nursing students: no age limit.
  • The sum of the student’s income and that of his or her family group must not exceed 3 Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM), except when the young applicants are holders of a non-contributory pension for disability granted under Article 9 of Law 13478.
  • Be a high school graduate and not have any outstanding subjects at the time of registration.
  • Entering or studying at national or provincial universities, national university institutes or higher technical education institutes, state-run technical training and teacher training institutes. There are exceptions for privately run institutions and nursing students contemplated in the Progresar Regulations.
  • Meet the academic conditions established in the Progresar Regulations.
  • Have a complete or ongoing vaccination schedule according to age group.
  • Participate in the complementary activities determined by the program.

Progress Work

  • Be a native or naturalized Argentine, or a foreigner with legal residence of 2 years in the country and have a DNI.
  • Be between 18 and 24 years old.
  • It extends up to 40 years for people who do not have formal registered work.
  • The sum of the applicant’s income must not exceed three (3) Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salaries (SMVM).

Amount of Progresar Scholarships in September 2024

The amount of the Progresar Scholarships in September will be $20,000 per month, although the real value will be $16,000, since ANSES retains 20% of that benefit.
