Specifically, all those people who decide to buy plots in new developments that have been approved by the municipal government will be exempt from paying the Street Lighting, Sweeping and Cleaning (ABL) tax for 5 years in order to be able to develop the place with better services.
The municipality clarified that new developments must meet a series of requirements such as paved streets, underground street lighting, drinking water and sewage or treatment plants.
“In Zárate we did not raise the tax rates, on the contrary, we eliminated them,” said the mayor, Marcelo Matzkin, through the social network X.
The mayor mentioned the elimination of fees that were added to the existing health and safety rate, the right to habilitation, the right to construction, the exemption from ABL for retirees, and for 5 years, for those who buy in a new housing development.
“In Zárate we are committed to growing alongside the private sector, not at its expense,” Matzkin stressed. This is part of the package of measures adopted by the administration to reactivate investments in the district, which had been abandoned in recent years.
