France’s star footballer Kylian Mbappé has prevailed in the million-euro dispute over salary payments from his former club Paris Saint-Germain. The French league association has ordered PSG to pay Mbappé 55 million euros in back pay, which he claimed as outstanding salary before his move to Real Madrid, reported the sports newspaper “L’Équipe” and other French media.
In its ruling, the League Association’s Legal Commission (LFP) found that PSG had wrongfully failed to pay its former striker parts of his salary, which were set out in an additional agreement to his employment contract.
