The Ministry of Human Capital confirmed that the Volver al Trabajo program is not compatible with a key ANSES benefit.

He Ministry of Human Capital recently reported that the beneficiaries of the program Back to Workone of the versions of the ex Boost Workwill not be able to access one of the most important benefits that it grants the National Social Security Administration (ANSES)This limitation has generated great repercussions among those who are interested in taking advantage of both options, since they are incompatible.

It is important to note that those who enroll in this program must meet strict requirements, which include incompatibility with other key ANSES benefits.

What is Return to Work?

The program Back to Work The main objective of this programme is to facilitate the reintegration of its beneficiaries into the formal labour market. The plan is aimed at those who wish to train and improve their skills to obtain stable employment, through a monthly subsidy managed by ANSES.

This benefit includes various training courses and the collection of a monthly amount which seeks to provide financial support while the beneficiary advances in his or her training. In addition, in cases of obtaining formal employment, an income limit equivalent to three times the Minimum, Vital and Mobile Salary (SMVM) is established.

Returning to work is incompatible with this ANSES benefit

In accordance with the provisions of the Ministry of Human Capital, Back to Work is incompatible with the Progresar Scholarshipsa benefit aimed at promoting education among young people and adults. The registration period for these scholarships is open, but those who are part of the Back to Work program will not be able to apply for this non-refundable income.

This incompatibility is due to the fact that both benefits share the same objective: training and promoting labour inclusion. Therefore, beneficiaries of Volver al Trabajo cannot receive a second financial aid for the same purpose.

ANSES benefits compatible with the former Potenciar Trabajo

The others ANSES benefits compatible with Returning to Work are:

  • Universal Child Allowance (AUH): allows beneficiaries to receive this allowance, as long as they meet the requirements related to income and employment status.

  • Universal Pregnancy Allowance (AUE): compatible as long as the income does not exceed the limit allowed by the program.

  • Family Allowances (SUAF):Beneficiaries of Back to Work with formal employment can receive family allowances if they meet the established income conditions.

  • Retirements and pensions: In some cases, access to retirement and pension benefits is permitted, depending on the beneficiary’s income and relationship with the SMVM.

  • Formal employment programs: If beneficiaries have access to formal employment, they can combine their work income with other benefits, provided that the total income does not exceed the limit of three times the SMVM.

It is important to meet the limits and specific requirements of each benefit in order to receive them along with the Return to Work plan.
