US says Iran is trying to assassinate Donald Trump
In July, after an attacker opened fire on Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania, Iran denied allegations that it was trying to assassinate the former president.
Following the failed assassination attempt, US media reported an Iranian plot against the Republican candidate, prompting the reinforcement of his security. The Islamic Republic denied the allegations, calling them “malicious.”
The White House also denounced that Iran carry forward hacking attempts against Trump’s campaignin an alleged attempt to influence the November 5 presidential elections.
Assassination attempt on Donald Trump: Florida shooter charged
The former president suffered two attacks this year assassination attempts. The first one in Pennsylvania. The second one happened this month in Florida, when a Man opened fire on Trump golf course.
On Tuesday, the shooter was indicted on three additional charges, including attempted murder of a presidential candidate. The police arrested Ryan Routh, 58, on September 15, shortly after he escaped when U.S. Secret Service agents found him armed near the camp.
