The President sent his star advisor to smooth things over after the PRO founder’s complaint. The Government needs the PRO to support decisions in Congress.
The complaint of Mauricio Macri reached the ears of Javier Milei. After making it clear that the dialogues between the two have no final echo in the administration, the President sent his star advisor Santiago Caputo, one of the three parts of the “iron triangle” that surrounds the libertarian president, to lower the tension.

The Government needs to guarantee that again, as happened with the retirement reform, senators who are not its own – from the PRO, the UCR and dialoguist Peronism – become “heroes” to sustain the veto.
