Once again, the opposition gathered its blocks to prevent Javier Milei from governing only by decrees.
When the management of Javier Milei had found a dynamic of governability, based on decree what could not be agreed upon and veto what could not be avoidedthe opposition alliance converged again in Congress to call a session that intends reform the DNUsbut whose background is a message to the Executive.
If the reform of Law 26,122 is approved, the rejection of one of the two chambers will be sufficient to revoke a DNU and these will have a validity period of up to 90 days. Thus, the Legislature will no longer have to vote for rejection but for approval. As happened with retirements and universities, they will come together again Peronism, dissident radicalism, left and provincialisms. Casa Rosada pressures the governors so that their parliamentary representatives do not support the project: for now, it achieved the silence of the PRO and the support of the most libertarian sector of the UCR, which will have a divided vote again.
Different paradoxes arise with this project. The most specific is the warning of Javier Mileiwhich if the reform is sanctioned would use the presidential veto precisely against an initiative that seeks to balance the distribution of powers. The Executive is not only bidding with the provinces for this proposal. Congress does not want to give extraordinary powers to the national administration in this negotiation, but it observes how suspicions regarding the Budget 2025: The ruling party no longer hides its lack of interest in approving it in order to be able to execute games at its discretion.

On the same Wednesday, in a plenary session where members of five commissions will come together, a comprehensive strategy will begin to be discussed to address problematic consumption in the youth.
