Bye AFIP: ARCA blocked CUIT records and this is how you can solve it

With the restructuring of the AFIP, many adherents of the monotax regime wonder what will happen to the limits on the amounts for purchases.

A few weeks ago, the Government of Javier Milei surprised all Argentines with the announcement of a new measure: the closure of the Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP). The reality is that the regulations of this administration will not cease to exist as such, but will be dissolved to create the Customs Collection and Control Agency (ARCA).

In that sense, since the Government made the dissolution of the AFIP official, there have been many questions about what will happen with some procedures and compliance with tax obligations. Among them, complications arose with the certification of CUIT, which was blocked from several holders by the new organization.

ARCA: how to unlock CUIT proof

For this problem there is a solution. In this way, you must follow a series of steps to resolve the blocking of the CUIT record:

  1. In the registration system, in the electronic tax address box, although the button says “attached” and seems blocked, it can be clicked.
  2. Associate email and phone.
  3. It may happen that the ARCA responds that the presentation of sworn statements is missing, and it is resolved by presenting them.

How to obtain proof of CUIT for the first time

The Unique Tax Identification Code (CUIT) It is a code made up of 11 digits, which the AFIP identifies self-employed workers, businesses and companies. To obtain it for the first time it is necessary to present documentationwhich includes files in JPG or PDF format of the front and back of the DNI and photo in front, and information about him real addresswhich appears in the DNI, postal code, street, number and additional information if applicable.

A photo of proof of the tax address you declare in PDF or JPG format must be attached. The admitted certificates are:

  • Argentine national identity document.
  • Certificate of domicile issued by a competent authority.
  • Notarial verification certificate.
  • Proof of a service in the name of the taxpayer or responsible party.
  • Property title or rental or leasing contract for the property whose address is reported.
  • Bank account statement or credit card statement, when the applicant is the owner of such services.
  • Qualification or equivalent municipal authorization, when the applicant’s activity is carried out in properties that require it.
  • Family Housing Certificate issued by the State Property Administration Agency, delivered by the National Social Security Administration (ANSES).
