Nagelsmann made nine starting eleven changes against Hungary
Julian Nagelsmann is using the last international match of the year to make radical personnel changes. In Hungary, nine new players are joining the starting line-up.
With nine changes compared to the seven-goal gala against Bosnia-Herzegovina, Julian Nagelsmann begins the last international match of the year in the evening (8.45 p.m./ZDF) against Hungary. In the Puskas Arena in Budapest, only captain Joshua Kimmich and Robert Andrich remain in the starting line-up. Nagelsmann had announced many changes.
Alexander Nübel guards the goal of the national soccer team. In addition to Kimmich, Robin Koch, Nico Schlotterbeck and Benjamin Henrichs form the back four in defense. Next to Andrich, Nmecha plays in the six position. Offensively, the national coach gives Julian Brandt, Leroy Sané, Chris Führich and Serge Gnabry a chance.
The DFB team was already confirmed as first in the Nations League group before the game. Opponent Hungary ends the preliminary round phase in third place regardless of the result against Germany.
