Rural workers will have an increase in unemployment benefits in December: how much is the amount

The Governing Body established this new increase in order to improve the quality of monetary benefits and assistance to unemployed rural workers.

Starting December 1, RENATRE will increase unemployment benefits, reaching the maximum amount of $200,000 and the minimum amount of $100,000. The Governing Body established this new increase in order to improve the quality of monetary provision and assistance torural workers in a situation of unemployment.

“With these actions we reaffirm our commitment to strengthening economic support for rural workers. Our objective is that they can count on a greater benefit that allows them to overcome the unemployment situation,” stated the president of RENATRE, Adrián Luna Vázquez.

“From the Board of Directors we review the increases monthly in order to achieve better coverage with the unemployment benefit since it represents a support for rural families that are going through situations of unemployment,” said the director of RENATRE, José Voytenco.

Said increase, includes concepts for unfavorable areas: an additional 20% for those residing in Chubut, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego, Antarctica and the South Atlantic Islands, and an additional 10% for those in Neuquén and Río Negro.

Rural workers: how to access the unemployment benefit system

Rural workers who are unemployed and are duly registered in RENATRE will be able to access the Comprehensive Unemployment Benefit System. This system, in addition to the economic benefit, includes medical-care coverage, funeral service, access to the collection of family allowances granted by the ANSES, in appropriate cases, and to the organization’s training programs.
