Never change a winning team,” says an English sports proverb. “If you don’t dare, you don’t win,” says Simon Wagner. The 31-year-old has won practically everything there is to win in Austria over the past four years. The Mühlviertler became state champions four times in a row. In the fall, however, he quietly and secretly put together a completely new “package” that should lead him to his fifth title next year.

With the exception of the tire supplier, practically nothing remained untouched: new vehicle, new team, new co-driver. “I am incredibly grateful for the collaboration with everyone involved and believe we can be proud of what we have achieved over the years. It won’t be a goodbye forever. But at the moment I’m looking forward to a new phase and everything it has in store for us,” says the Mauthausen native, who will be competing in both the Austrian and Czech championships as well as selected European championship races in 2025.
