Rodrigo Garro fatal accident: the motorcyclist who died was drunk

According to the expert reports, the motorcyclist, 30 years old, did not have a valid driver’s licensesince his license had expired in September 2022, so he was circulating illegally.

The accident occurred at the intersection of streets 300 and 108. A Motomel 110 cc motorcycle and Garro’s truck were involved in the impact.

The prosecutor explained that, in addition to the toxicological analyses, Technical tests are being carried out to determine key aspects, such as the state of the motorcycle’s lights, the speed of the vehicles and the exact point of collision.

Cuenca stated: “These are issues that we are evaluating and that have to do with the dynamics of the accident.” Furthermore, he highlighted the importance of the evidence collected so far, but insisted that there is still work to be done.

“What we have now is objective evidence that we must evaluate at the appropriate time. They are elements that contribute to the case, but the analysis must be careful”he stated.

He also mentioned that testimonies are being collected from people who assisted Chiaraviglio at the scene of the accident, with the aim of clarifying how the events unfolded.

Garro, who is found charged with manslaughterhe has no restrictions to leave the country and continues training with his club Corinthians in Saint Paul.

As the investigation progresses, the statements of witnesses and the results of the expertise will be decisive in resolving the case and establishing responsibilities.
