The National Social Security Administration (ANSES) is already in the second week of the payment schedule corresponding to the month of January, and with it also came a previously announced increase of 2.4% based on the mobility formula in force promoted by the Government of Javier Milei. This benefits retirees, pensioners and holders of family allowances, who can also access accessories extra to overcome certain economic difficulties.
Among them is the Home Programan initiative promoted by the Secretary of Energy to financially help families who need to buy carafes to have gas in your house. The value of this financial aid may vary depending on the size of the family group, the location of the home and the time of year.

What the ANSES Home Program is about and what are the requirements?
The Home Program is available to access 10, 12 and 15 kilo capacity bottles for those who meet the following requirements:
- That no member of the family group has a natural gas service in their name, nor has they requested the Social Gas Rate.
- That the income of the family group does not exceed two vital and mobile minimum wages or, if you are a monotributist, until the category C inclusive. If one of the members is a person with a disability (and has a valid CUD), the monthly income of the family group may be up to three minimum vital and mobile salaries or category D even in the case of monotributistas.
- In homes in La Pampa, Neuquén, Río Negro, Chubut, Santa Cruz, Tierra del Fuego and the Patagones district (province of Buenos Aires), the monthly income of the family group may be up to 2.8 minimum vital and mobile wages or monotributist up to category D inclusive, or if a family member with a disability lives, up to 4.2 minimum vital and mobile wages, monotributist up to category E inclusive.
How to register for the ANSES Home Program
- Enter my ANSES: access with your Social Security Code. If you do not have a password, it can be created immediately through this link. The procedure can also be done from your cell phone, through the Mi Anses app.
- Verify and upload personal data: Within the My Anses account, it is important to check that personal and family relationship data are up to date.
- Request the Social Rate for the Home Program: in the platform menu, select the Programs and Benefits option and within it the item Request Social Rate.
- Choose the Home Program option and follow the corresponding steps: once the application is completed, download the receipt. From then on, an Anses worker should contact the applicant to inform them of the status of the process.

The amounts of the ANSES Home Program
The amount that the beneficiaries of the Home Program receive to buy the country’s 10, 12 and 15 kg bottles is determined by the maximum prices established by the Ministry of Energy for each distributor, fractionator and business in the country. The current amounts, which remain from 2024, were:
- 10 kg bottle: $10,500
- 12 kg bottle: $12,600
- 15 kg bottle: $15,750
