The three survivors portrayed next to the Holy Father are Edith Bruck, Liliana Segre and Sami Modianopainted as if they were part of the Clan of the animated series the Simpsons. In the drawing, you can see Bergoglio with a poster with the message: “Anti -Semitism is everywhere.”


Art against Holocaust
On the occasion of the Holocaust’s memory, the Italian raised his voice about anti -Semitism, denial and indifference, with the universal language of cartoons, to honor three of the last Italian survivors of the Shoah and called not to forget the darkest page in the history of humanity.

Pope Francis will head between young people from Israel, Palestine and the USA
Young people from Israel, Palestine and the United States will meet for the first time to share a unique interreligious experience in its kind.
