The two double-seat specialists prevailed in front of the Letten Martins Bots/Roberts Plume and the record Olympic champion Tobias Wendl and Tobias Arlt. After the two runs, the duo from Thuringia was 0.102 seconds ahead of Bots/Plume, the six -time Olympic champion Wendl/Arlt were 0.133 seconds behind the new world masters.
