Erik Meijer’s expert council
Is alcohol the last hope for Borussia Dortmund?
Once again, the BVB players stand at a loss in front of their followers. The 0: 2 bankruptcy at VfL Bochum tightens the Dortmund crisis. However, an expert has a tip.
Niko Kovač’s obligation was a last rearing of the BVB managers against the deep crisis of the association, which began this season under ex-coach Nuri Şahin. But even with the new coach, the Borussia simply doesn’t get on track.
Kovač’s debut against VfB Stuttgart was already lost 1-2 in Signal Iduna Park at home. In the Champions League there was a 3-0 win at Sporting Lisbon, but in the Bundesliga the Dortmunders had to give up 0-2 in the district derby against VfL Bochum.
The desolate inventory in the Bundesliga: Borussia Dortmund is currently in 11th place, with just 29 points from 22 games. And an improvement is not in sight. Therefore, an expert at the sports broadcaster Sky has a curious advice for the players of the black and yellow.
Sky expert recommends BVB professionals pronunciation with beer
Tactic expert and ex-football professional Erik Meijer believes a pronunciation of the BVB players inevitable. However, a special tool is needed for this: beer. “In our time, the cabin door was closed, four boxes were put in beer and only when they are empty and we have spoken out, we’ll go out again,” said the Dutch after the Dortmund bankruptcy in Bochum. “That helped back then. But I don’t know whether that’s the case today.” Meijer himself used to rose for Bayer Leverkusen, Liverpool and the HSV.
At least something has to happen in Dortmund. And it has to happen quickly to create a U -turn and maybe still be able to play the international places. However, the fans have enough of the crisis and let their resentment run wild on social networks. “Speechless! 8 months ago CL (Champions League) Finale, today defeat against the last in the Bundesliga,” writes a user on Instagram. And another comments sarcastic: “BVB sinks faster than the Titanic.”
Is Meijer’s alcohol advisable the last hope for BVB and his fans? Questionable. However, it would be worth a try.
