DFB women get new away jersey in red and pink
A little street art for the DFB women: Adidas and the DFB have revealed a new jersey for women’s football European Football. It comes colorful and with a striking pattern.
Red and pink with yellow accents: In the striking away jersey, Germany’s footballers will also play in Switzerland at the 2025 European Championship. The patterned design should be reminiscent of graffiti road art in German cities, said the DFB and Adidas. In the neck, the jersey has a “Germany” lettering-also in graffiti style.
“I like the new away jersey very much,” said offensive player Jule Brand. It was modern and unusual. “We look forward to wearing it in the upcoming Nation League games and especially at the European Championship in summer in Switzerland.”
DFB jersey is used for the first time against Austria
Influencer Caro Daur had already worn the design at the Fashion Week in Berlin in early February. However, there has not yet been an official confirmation that this is the new DFB jersey.
According to the DFB, the jersey is to be used for the first time at the international match against Austria on Tuesday, February 25 (6.15 p.m./ZDF). The women’s football European Football takes place from July 2 to 27.
