Sport1 presenter announces pregnancy in the “double pass”
Enjoyable news about the start of the football talk: co-moderator Ruth Hofmann is expecting a baby. “Double Pass” host Florian König taps on a child-loving child.
Sport1 presenter Ruth Hofmann is pregnant. The 38-year-old revealed this right at the beginning of the “Doppelpass” football talk, after moderator Florian König announced a surprise when he was transferred to Hofmann. “I also brought someone with me, a very special guest if you like,” said Hofmann. “It doesn’t need an extra space with you in the round. It is in good hands with me here. I am pregnant and get reinforcement.”
The co-moderator received applause from the audience and the studio guests for this message. König said that a child who is already socialized in the mother’s abdomen with the “double pass” will certainly be enthusiastic about football.
A baby break stands for Hofmann, who has been working at Sport1 since 2016, but is not yet. She explained to work until the end of the season. “And the summer break is nice and scheduled for me.”
