Bob World Cup
Laura Nolte fully flips out after World Cup silver in the Monobob
The third World Cup gold in a series does not create Laura Nolte, but with the best time of running caught her again and saves silver. World Cupseman winner Lisa Buckwitz improves in the last run.
Laura Nolte jumped out of the still slipping bob and hopped over the ice with joy over World Cup silver. “I’m totally happy because it didn’t fit a few things together. Kaysha (Love, her competitor from the USA) was simply not to be beat.
It was much more important for her that she saved silver by five hundredths on the difficult train in Lake Placid. Because Elana Meyers Taylor from the United States got stronger from run to run. In the third round, Nolte drove in front of the eyes of her parents who traveled and in the meantime reduced the distance to Love. But this could counter the final run.
Buckwitz attack came too late
World Cup survivor Lisa Buckwitz from BRC Thuringia, who started the season with three World Cup victories, was able to improve in fifth place on the second day of the competition. The last run was most successful with the second best time. But the attack came too late. “A conciliatory end, I’m happy. 80 percent were good, 20 percent not on the train. I could be satisfied with the start times,” said the Potsdamer and announced an attack in the two -way bob: “It will be much better than in Monobob.”
