Many experts – and a crash: the 2014 world champions do that today

Many football fans will not forget the evening of July 13, 2014. In a dramatic game, the German national soccer team defeated Argentina in the World Cup final 1-0 after extra time. It was the fourth world championship title for the DFB.
Mario Götze’s crucial goal is remembered as well as the head injury by Christoph Kramer or the cut under the eye, which Bastian Schweinsteiger from the Maracana Stadium was worn.
2014 world champion work on the career after the career
But after more than a decade, many of the stars of that time disappeared from the spotlight. A few still play at top level today and are in the autumn of their career. Others have long since built up a career after their career.
Former stars such as Mertesacker, Bastian Schweinsteiger or Sami Khedira can be seen regularly on television as experts. Philipp Lahm took the official career. But there are also cases in which the crash followed the world championship title.
