Twenties: Infantino should OUTE as circus director OUTE
Gianni Infantino’s external representation displeases the former DFB President of twenties massively. He wants more honesty.
Former DFB President Theo Zwanziger criticized the World Association FIFA and its President Gianni Infantino. “If you want to make money with football, my wish that you just let these ethical coats that you always hang up, just let you say. We should just say football and that is a big business today,” said twenties in the podcast “Calcio d’Oro”.
It would be an honest attitude if you simply admit that you are essentially “entertainment and circus”, the 79-year-old added. Twenties was President of the German Football Association between 2004 and 2012.
Twenties: Infantino is not a role model
The role of association boss Infantino in particular sees twenties critically. “To pretend that you are actually the world improver is wrong. Infantino is not a role model for football. If he jumps around there, he should rather come as a circus director,” said Zwanziger, who also complains about the power of the Swiss’s power in the football cosmos. FIFA is a money machine. Unfortunately, nobody has to open, said twenties.
Infantino decide where world football is going. “He has it in his hand to create a tournament somewhere again where they all make a lot of money. If the officials are allowed to go there and take the millions with them, they are calm and say nothing more,” complained twenties.
This is the method “with which you can hold corrupt organizations in a sport like football”. The 2026 World Cup was awarded to the USA, Mexico and Canada a few years ago. In 2030, after opening games in South America, playing was mainly played in Spain, Portugal and Morocco. Saudi Arabia was awarded the contract for 2034. This summer the club World Cup with 32 clubs will take place for the first time.
