There will be 24 races again. Imola is out, but it is to be driven in Madrid for the first time. It doesn’t start again in Bahrain because of the Ramadan.

Formula 1 does not start its big reform season in the coming year because of the Muslim fasting month Ramadan in Bahrain. It starts instead on the Albert Park Circuit from Melbourne with the Grand Prix of Australia. The first of 24 Grand Prix ‘2026 is planned for March 8, a week later it is to be driven in Shanghai, on March 29 in Suzuka, Japanese.

Formula 1 expects massive control reform to even more sustainability in the coming year. Among other things, the cars will then drive with a 100 % CO2-neutral fuel.

After the races in Australia, China and Japan, the motorsport king class turns to Bahrain (April 12) and Saudi Arabia (April 19)-the Ramadan will go from March 16 to March 18. The current season had also started in Australia because of the fasting month.

Madrid is new in the racing calendar next year. In the Spanish capital, on September 13, a city course is to be taken at the exhibition center. Spain will even have two races in the coming year: in mid-June, the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya will be driven. A week earlier, the classic is in Monaco – it will also be the European start at the same time. Germany does not play a role in the racing calendar despite the start of the Audi work team in the coming year.

The final after a renewed overseas trip After the Europa block, on December 6th, as usual, Abu Dhabi’s Yas Marina Circuit is to take place on the Yas Marina Circuit. The race is no longer in the Formula 1 calendar in Imola, Italy.
