The Verdi union has called on employees in the airport’s aviation security area to stop working from midnight to midnight. According to Verdi, passenger control is affected by the warning strike. The background: There is currently a wage dispute in the aviation security industry. In two rounds of talks on increasing the fees for security forces at commercial airports, no agreement has been reached so far. Verdi is negotiating nationwide for around 25,000 industry employees with the Federal Association of Aviation Security Companies (BDLS). The negotiations will continue on March 1st and 2nd, 2022 in Berlin.
