The ruling is based on 20 electronic files submitted by different companies, in which tariff classification in the bloc’s Common Nomenclature was requested.

The resolution was signed by the Director General of the General Directorate of Customs, Eduardo Raul Alberto Oscamou Mallea.

Through General Resolution 5522/2024 of the Federal Public Revenue Administration (AFIP), published this Thursday in the Official Gazette, new tariff classification criteria were issued in the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR (NCM).

According to the official text, the resolution is based on 20 electronic files submitted by different companies, in which tariff classification in the Common Nomenclature of MERCOSUR (NCM) of certain goods was requested.

Thus, AFIP, after analyzing the files with the intervention of the competent technical areas, issued Classification Criteria Nos. 71/24 to 90/24.

AFIP resolves

  • Locate the merchandise detailed in Annex IF-2024-01910273-AFIP-DVCOOA#DGADUA in the NCM Tariff Items indicated in each case.
  • The resolution enters into force upon its publication in the Official Gazette.
