From this Sunday, September 1st began to govern a new increase in the prices of gasoline and diesel. The increase applied by the refiners –YPF, Shell, Axion and Puma– contains the transfer of the monthly devaluation and an update in the Liquid Fuel Tax (ICL).
So far this year, fuel prices have increased by more than 85%, within the framework of the adjustment applied by the government of Javier Milei on the ICL and the increases authorized by the Government to achieve parity with the international price.

How much is a liter of gasoline and diesel, starting this Sunday?
With this Sunday’s increase, YPF super gasoline, the local leader with nearly 60% of the market, goes from $992 to $1,059 per liter (increase of 6.75%), according to the prices reported on the portal Pumps. This is the best-selling fuel segment.
Meanwhile, premium gasoline went from $1,226 to $1,309 per liter (+6.75%). Diesel increased from $1,032 to $1,084 per liter (+5%) and the new price of premium diesel oil is $1,334 (+1%).
To reduce the gap with the interior, the increase was greater in the City of Buenos Aires than in the rest of the regions of the country.
