The chain opened its first wholesale branches and two new Express formats. This is a milestone for the company, which aims to generate more than 2,000 jobs.
Carrefour Argentina inaugurated four new branches in Province and City of Buenos Aires. These are two of the format Carrefour Maxithe wholesale option with no minimum purchase, and two of the format Express. With these four locations, it has accumulated 35 openings in 2024.
The opening is of the branches of Cañuelas, Chivilcoy, Almagro and Villa Crespo. With these openings, the chain has made 35 openings in 2024, focused especially on the aforementioned formats. Likewise, for the brand new Cañuelas branch, investments were made $6.7 billion and has a total area of 9000 m2, with a sales room of 1800 m2 and parking with capacity for 110 cars.
Both stores were built in just five months and they will employ more than 180 new local collaborators, many of them interviewed and incorporated from the municipal job pools.

For their part, the new Express branches are located at Av. Corrientes 3401, in the Almagro neighborhood, and at José Ramírez Velasco 745, Villa Crespo, both in the City of Buenos Aires. With this opening, More than 100,000 residents will be able to supply themselves with the more than 3,000 references offered by these local stores and the personalized attention that distinguishes this format.
