Allianz in day -to -day business with record gain – dividend increases
The Allianz Group has earned more in the past financial year than expected. The shareholders can look forward to a higher distribution.
In 2024, the insurer Allianz deserved more than ever before. The operational profit rose by almost nine percent to a good 16 billion euros, as the DAX group announced on Friday in Munich. In doing so, he exceeded his original target as well as the average expectations of analysts. For the new year, CEO Oliver Bäte has an operational result between 15 and 17 billion euros.
For 2024, shareholders per share should receive a dividend of 15.40 euros – an increase of 11.6 percent. In addition, there is a share buyback over up to 2 billion euros.
In the past year, Allianz benefited primarily from its largest division, the damage and accident business. The area increased its operational profit by around one billion to 7.9 billion euros. The bottom line was that the Allianz shareholders have a profit of a good 9.9 billion euros across the Group and 16 percent more than in the previous year.
