Bankrott, falsification of the balance sheet, fraud? Ex-Greensill managers come under pressure. What investigators and insolvency administrators accuse you of.

After the Greensill bankruptcy, former managers of the bank are increasingly under pressure. The insolvency administrator Michael Fege filed a lawsuit against seven people at the Bremen district court, as a court spokesman confirmed a report by the “Handelsblatt”. The civil proceedings are about more than 92 million euros.

The so -called written preliminary proceedings are currently underway, the spokesman for the regional court said. “So the lawsuit was delivered and the parties submit their arguments in writing.”

The Bremen public prosecutor hopes to finish their investigations soon. “Our goal is to complete the procedure this year,” said chief prosecutor Frank Passade to the “Handelsblatt”. The allegations range from bankruptcy to falsification to fraud. According to the investigators, the banking of the bank accounted for billions of billions, some of which never existed. So far, none of the 13 suspects have commented. It is still open whether there is an indictment.

The Bremen Greensill-Bank attracted comparatively high savings interest rates to daily and fixed deposits. The bank went bankrupt in March 2021. Private savers were compensated that municipalities remained on many millions of euros.
