What is UV Nail Polish?

Difference Between UV Nail Polish and Shellac

UV nail polish: how does it work at home?

The following steps are suitable here, so that the color really lasts for a long time:
- Clean / disinfect hands.
- Push back the cuticle if necessary.

- So that the UV nail polish lasts a long time, a thin layer of twin or base coat follows. This should already be dried under the LED or UV lamp.

Now cure for about 120 seconds under a UV lamp or 30 to 60 seconds under an LED lamp. Repeat the whole thing again if necessary and depending on the color.
- At the end there is another thin layer of top or twin coat. Let it harden again.
- Finally, you should briefly clean the nails again with Zellette and nail cleaner to remove the so-called sweat layer. However, only remove this at the end, not between the individual layers, as it acts as an adhesive base.
Remove UV nail polish again
UV nail polish can be done with a remove, which at best does not contain acetone. This can be harmful to the nails and also dry out the skin. If it occurs in the remover, it is advisable to take care of the nails after removing the UV nail polish, for example with nail oil or something similar. The best way to clean is:
