UV nail polish: how does it work at home?

The following steps are suitable here, so that the color really lasts for a long time:

  • Clean / disinfect hands.
  • Push back the cuticle if necessary.
  • Grease residues from the nails, for example, with the help of remove.
  • If necessary, apply a primer to the nails and let it dry.
  • So that the UV nail polish lasts a long time, a thin layer of twin or base coat follows. This should already be dried under the LED or UV lamp.
  • Then it goes to the colored UV nail polish. Again, apply a thin layer and don’t forget the upper side of the nail so that the varnish finishes nicely. Now cure for about 120 seconds under a UV lamp or 30 to 60 seconds under an LED lamp. Repeat the whole thing again if necessary and depending on the color.
  • At the end there is another thin layer of top or twin coat. Let it harden again.
  • Finally, you should briefly clean the nails again with Zellette and nail cleaner to remove the so-called sweat layer. However, only remove this at the end, not between the individual layers, as it acts as an adhesive base.

Remove UV nail polish again
