The crises in Great Britain are numerous, and King Charles III. and his wife Camilla make a small mark. For their coronation in May, they’re banking on a less expensive and more sustainable crown – and a tribute to Elizabeth II.
The deceased Queen once remarked very aptly on account of her unique knowledge of the subject of crowns: “There are some disadvantages to crowns, but otherwise they are quite important things!” (“Crowns do have some downsides, but other than that, they’re pretty important!”)
Camilla, who has been the king’s wife at the side of her husband Charles III since September last year, must now also experience this. and from May 6, 2023 she will probably wear a crown herself.
