About a week ago, Toten Hosen gave a benefit concert for the earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria. The money raised is a “great result”. Now the band wants to do it again.
About a week after their benefit concert for earthquake victims in Turkey and Syria, the Toten Hosen have already collected more than 1.6 million euros in donations. The band announced this on Instagram in the evening – and thanked everyone who had contributed to the “great result”.
However, the need in the affected areas is great. That’s why you put “once again”. Signed concert posters can now be purchased. The entire net profit after deducting the production costs will also be donated.
The Toten Hosen performed in Düsseldorf on February 24 to collect money for the earthquake victims. In order to create additional reach for the appeal for donations, the concert was broadcast nationwide by six radio stations and streamed live. The rock musicians and fans also commemorated the dead with a minute’s silence. Tens of thousands of people had died.
