He’s got a taste for it: model coach Bruce Darnell wants more TV roles.
Bruce Darnell – once known as a model trainer (“The Handbag Must Be Alive”) – wants to appear more often as an actor. “In fact, I could well imagine being in front of the camera more often for TV films in the near future,” said the 65-year-old, who has a guest appearance in the new ZDF evening series “Hotel Mondial”, the German Press Agency. The series is set in a fictional hotel in Schwerin.
“It’s super exciting for me to be part of a big film crew. I really enjoy stepping into other roles and trying things out. It made working on the set easy for me and I really enjoyed shooting,” said Darnell . In the current first season of “Hotel Mondial” he can be seen in the eighth episode (title: “Father’s Joy”). He checks in with his husband and asks the hotel staff for recommendations for a romantic wedding anniversary surprise.
“There’s always something going on at the Mondial and there’s drama, big and small,” says Darnell. On linear television, ZDF will show the episode on March 22 at 7:25 p.m. It is already available in the ZDF media library.
