Interpreting what is entertaining perfectly – that sometimes makes the master class in music. A good example is the group “MACH7”. These are seven musicians from the districts of Perg, Freistadt and Amstetten, who play Bohemian-Moravian brass music at the highest level. International prizes testify to the skills of this ensemble as well as the popularity of their concerts.
“MACH7” prove on their new CD “The Meaning of Life” that they don’t just have well-known standards: This album combines twelve original compositions by Josef Fröschl, Emil Haderer and Alexander Überlacker. This recording will be presented live on Saturday (7.30 p.m.) at Gasthof Rameder in Mönchdorf. Johannes “Tschuxi” Wagner will accompany the audience through the evening as moderator. Fine tunes from the “Mühl4tler Tanzlmusi” can be heard from 6 p.m. to get you in the mood for the CD presentation.
