The first grape harvest festival arrives at the Quebrada de Humahuaca

From March 21 to 25, Bodega El Bayeh will hold for the first time the wine, gastronomy and music festival in different locations of the Quebrada de Humahuaca.

This is a unique event in the province organized by the El Bayeh Winery together with the El Manantial del Silencio Hotel, La Huerta Tambo, Casa Mocha, and Carlini Pizzeria, bringing together different personalities from the Quebrada de Humahuaca, which will be the epicenter of this first gastronomic and cultural experience within the framework of the Harvest Festival.

“For us it is a unique opportunity to make the culture of our region known. Wines as the epicenter adding gastronomy, music, and everything that makes up this rich culture of Northern Argentina” he expresses Daniel Manzur, winemaker and director of Bodega El Bayeh.

Among the personalities that will accompany the event will be the renowned Chef Dolli Irigoyen, together with Florencia Rodriguez from Nuevo Progreso and Daniel Hansen from Flor del Pago, and the winemaker Matías Michelini. The music will be in charge of Bárbara Palacios + Trio (Javier Casalla and Lucero Carabajal) who will present “Criolla”, Santiago Arias on bandoneon, Re White Live, Rocío Manzur, and Anita Boero DJ who will offer all their music to the and the presents.

This event is intended for all those seeking an unforgettable experience surrounded by the natural beauty of the Quebrada de Humahuaca. The Harvest of El Bayeh will offer the best of wine, food and music in three exclusive locations: Maimará, Purmamarca and Huacalera, to enjoy wine tasting and traditional food from the region in a lively and festive atmosphere.

ABOUT THE VINTAGE

The El Bayeh Harvest in La Quebrada de Humahuaca is a great opportunity to meet other people who love wine, food and music, and to discover the best that the region has to offer, from the vineyards, the regional dishes and the rhythms of Andean music, in an experience that promises to taste all our senses.

LINE UP:

  • Tuesday 03/21 at 9:00 p.m.: The Bayeh Came to Play! at Carlini’s Pizzeria (San Salvador de Jujuy). Blind tastings to learn about the world of wine in a fun way, through everyday games that help us “absorb” knowledge. Reservations can be made directly at Carlini.
  • Thursday 03/23 at 7:00 p.m.: the renowned Chef Dolli Irigoyen will present flavors of the Quebradeño terroir at the iconic Hotel El Manantial del Silencio (Purmamarca), a precursor of tourism in the region. The flavor of the Quebrada de Humahuaca in each dish: a unique culinary experience with local products and El Bayeh wines by Dolli and Florencia Rodriguez.
  • Friday 03/24 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.: The Harvest of El Bayeh. Conceptual visit to the vineyards where during the tour we will learn about La Quebrada de Humahuaca as a new wine sector, the landscape, the Bodega project and curiosities of the Creoles. Live show by Barbarita Palacios, Javier Casalla, Lucero Carabajal and Santiago Arias, and shows among the vineyards. Then there will be an immersive blind tasting on THE CRIOLLA GRAPE and a meeting of chefs with Daniel Hansen and Florencia Rodriguez.
  • Saturday 03/25 from 5:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m.: Wine Fair at Casa Mocha (Huacalera). A unique gastronomic experience to enjoy a selection of exquisite local wines and have the opportunity to learn about the passionate producers behind them and the secrets behind each bottle. For terroir and product cuisine, Florencia Rodriguez will meet Eva and Celeste, local cooks, adding the special intervention of Dolli Irigoyen. Live shows by Barbarita Palacios + Trio, Rocío Manzur Ft. Re-White, Re-White Live and Anita Boero Dj with an electronic party to end the night.
