Princess Alexandra, on the far right of Prince Edward, is a cousin of the late Queen Elizabeth II and has been a loyal servant of the monarchy for more than 60 years. She is the sister of Prince Edward, who is on the far left in the portrait. The placement of Princess Anne right next to Charles might come as a surprise to some. The fact that Charles wants his sister right next to him could be a testament to how much he appreciates her. Regarded as dutiful, Anne is one of the hardest working royals.
