According to his own statements, Oscar winner Robert De Niro (79) has become a father for the seventh time. In an interview with an ET Canada TV reporter about his new film “About My Father”, the Hollywood star (“The Irishman”, “Taxi Driver”) announced paternity.
When asked about his six children, the actor corrected the reporter that there were seven. He just became a father again, De Niro said, but without giving any further details. His spokesman, Stan Rosenfield, confirmed the seventh child at the request of the German Press Agency. He did not provide any information about the mother or the gender of the child.
He has De Niro’s eldest children, Drena, 51, and Raphael, 46, with ex-wife Diahnne Abbott. Twin sons Julian and Aaron, 27, are from his then-girlfriend Toukie Smith, son Elliot, 25, and daughter Helen, 11, he has with ex-wife Grace Hightower. After more than 20 years of marriage, the couple separated in 2018.
