A year and a half ago, Lily Collins and Charlie McDowell sealed their love with a ring. Now this one is gone.
At the spa in a luxury hotel in Los Angeles, Lily Colins (34) took a break from everyday acting. The recovery was short-lived, however: when the ‘Emily in Paris’ star returned to her previously discarded engagement and wedding rings, they were reportedly nowhere to be found. Police said $10,000 worth of “high-quality jewelry and other items” were stolen from her.
According to initial findings, there were “no signs of forced entry into the room where Lily Collins kept her things”. The police are now looking for clues to the perpetrators with the help of surveillance cameras. So far, no one has been arrested in connection with the theft.
Lily Collins has not personally commented on the alleged loss. Due to its emotional value, this should hit the actress hard. Finally, the rings symbolize her love for Charlie McDowell (39).
Lily Collins has been married since 2021
She married the director on September 4, 2021 in Colorado. Collins wrote at the time that she had never wanted to belong to anyone as much as she did to McDowell in a picture in which they kissed deeply and which showed the actress in a fairytale wedding robe. “I’ve never been happier,” she captioned another photo in which she’s beaming at the camera and he can’t take his eyes off her.
Lily Collins also announced her engagement on Instagram in September 2020. “I’ve waited for you all my life and I can’t wait to share our lives together,” she captioned a series of photos. The engagement ring with the large pink stone was also in the photos. Collins and McDowell made their relationship public in August 2019.
