With more than 80 million records sold worldwide, nominated for six Grammys and winner of five Latin Grammys, Marco Antonio Solis was named the 2022 Latin Recording Academy Person of the Year, “for his career of more than four decades as one of the most successful and multifaceted artists in the history of Mexico,” and for a dedication that has “made him a true ambassador of Latin music worldwide”.
He began his solo career in 1996, and the more than 16 albums he has released since then have broken sales records, reaching the charts in Latin America, the United States and Spain, and leading to successful international tours with Marc Anthony, Laura Pausini, and Alejandro Fernández, among others.
